Bunting’s core business strategy is to be “easy to do business with” and whilst we try to include this mentality in everything that we do everyday, it’s not always easy to know that this strategy has been a success.
It’s a fact of business life that contacts within customers and suppliers, with whom we’ve developed a long term working relationship, eventually move on and it is with a bittersweet feeling that earlier this month we learned of the departure of a close contact at a valued customer. This contact passed on the details of her replacement and it is fair to say that the replacement has some big shoes to fill.
We know how much this contact has meant to us over the last five years as they have always been very flexible, fair and accommodating to the ever changing magnet landscape, however we wanted to share some of her words on departure, as this really does prove our “easy to do business” with strategy makes an impact.

Thank you very much for such kind words and I am glad that I had the opportunity to cooperate with you and your team. It was a real pleasure and since you mentioned flexibility, I would like to emphasize that I am grateful for your attitude. You were even able to stay ahead of our needs and secure the supply chain also in the event of a crisis. Nowadays, it is irreplaceable. Adding to that good communication from your side, it was really great cooperation.
Thank you again and I wish you every success!
We will bear this comment in mind whenever we are thinking about the best way to handle all sorts of situations in the future. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels the same as our departing contact.
